Through the legacy and culture that has been established, Win the Day Productions birthed a platform that encourages others to rest in the day that presents itself each morning, surrendering what we can’t control and stewarding the 24 hours we have been gifted. It’s a community of people called to make a difference, serve others and live the life they were called to. It’s a posture, it’s an attitude, it’s a way of life, to ‘Win the Day’, every day.
Why Win the Day
Win the Day is a mantra that has been folded deeply into our family’s culture, adopted by our inner circle, onto their spheres of influence, and passed around their communities.
In January of 2017, my husband Daryn was diagnosed with stage four testicular cancer. Our world was instantly flipped upside-down and inside-out. Our desire to control, plan and know our distant future was forced to an abrupt halt as we shifted our outlook to ‘day to day’. Every morning we woke up and were gifted another day, we made it our mission to ‘win the day’ regardless of the obstacles, limitations, or setbacks. Each day our ‘wins’ looked different but we continued to trust God’s ultimate plan and vision for our lives, especially in the face of adversity. By completely trusting in God’s greater plan, we were able to focus on each day and surrender the troubles of tomorrow. We became intentional and present and put forth our best effort in our race, daily.
Long after Daryn was welcomed into his Heavenly home, his legacy of ‘Win the Day’ lives on through many. It’s an honor to live our days and view the world through this lens, winning each day as it comes.
